The ninja retro platformer Cyber Shadow will be arriving on Xbox systems next month, as well as being included into Xbox Game Pass on January 26, 2021.
Cyber Shadow received a new trailer during a Nintendo Indie Showcase earlier this week and was one of the most notable games of the presentation. Its retro style and gameplay lends a heavy resemblance to the fantastic title The Messenger, and is looking to be a tightly crafted action platformer.
The official description reads:
“The world has been taken over by synthetic lifeforms. A desperate plea for help sets Shadow on a journey to uncover what started the path to perpetual ruin. Slash through the techno hordes, leap past traps, and nimbly navigate the ruins of Mekacity. Only you can unlock the secrets to your clan's ancient powers in Cyber Shadow, the quintessential Ninja Action game.”
Judging by the trailer, multiple stages will demand quick reflexes and superb skills against the many platforming gauntlets and elaborate bosses, all presented in stunning 8-bit glory. Sounds great!

This game looks like a chaotic, beautiful adventure.
I don't have game pass but with all these games I plan on buying ending up on game pass maybe I really should bite the bullet.
Cyber shadow looks excellent fun I have to say.
Game pass is the best indie demo service ever.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, so excited! This game looks amazing.
It seems like Indie Presentations from Nintendo are also ads for Game Pass subscribers.
Edit: Good on Pure Xbox for acknowledging another console exists. Can't say that for a certain sister site of yours that focusses on PS consoles.
@IronMan30 This exactly. The article on the sister site went out of their way to avoid mentioning the Indie direct.
Here's hoping Super Meat Boy Forever ends up on game pass in January as well
This game looked great in the Nintendo Indies presentation- I thought it was a sequel to The Messenger at first because the elements in the video reminded of that game. I’m glad it’s coming to Gamepass!
