One next-generation third-party title that hasn't been announced for the Xbox Series X|S (at least yet) is Godfall. Right now, the Gearbox published game is a PlayStation 5 launch exclusive.

So, will Xbox Series X|S players ever get the chance to try it out? Based on the PS5 launch trailer for the game, it appears Godfall is a timed-exclusive and will be playable on other consoles by 12th May next year.

"Not available on other consoles until at least 05/12/21."

That's about a six month wait then. As highlighted by VGC - the developer Counterplay previously mentioned on its website how the game was in the works for "next-gen consoles" in general.

Counterplay describes Godfall as a looter-slasher, melee action-RPG, and the development team is made up of talent who previously worked on games such as God of War, Gears 5, Halo 5, Destiny 2, Overwatch, Titanfall 2 and many other popular IPs.
