Maneater Swims Onto Xbox Series X|S At Launch With Free Upgrade

We'll take a bite out of this one! Tripwire Interactive, Deep Silver and Blindside Interactive have confirmed that "ShaRkPG" Maneater is coming to Xbox Series X|S as a free next-gen upgrade on November 10th. (thanks Gematsu).

The Xbox Series X version will reportedly support ray tracing, native 4K HDR support at 60 frames per second and "lush new lighting effects", and the game will also be getting a physical edition for the next-gen console.

Xbox Series S owners will also benefit from "increased graphical fidelity and frame rate."

Here's what Tripwire Interactive CEO John Gibson had to say about the news in a press release:

“The Tripwire team has been overwhelmed by the great reception Maneater received since it launched earlier this year, and we can’t wait for players to experience the thrill of playing as a deadly shark in all of her powerful glory on next-gen consoles.

With next-gen Maneater has never looked better with amazing ray traced water and smooth 4k 60 frames per second gameplay, but the adventures won’t stop there, as fans can expect even more exciting news about the future of Maneater soon.”
