Eager to get hands-on with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer? Activision has today revealed the official beta dates for the game, which unfortunately arrive a little later than on PS4, but nevertheless allow you to enjoy a few days' worth of access to the multiplayer suite.
On Xbox One, anyone who has pre-ordered the game will be able to play from October 15-16, while the open beta for all players (that doesn't require a purchase) will be live from October 17-19.
You can get a taste of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer in the video above, and if you want to get early access to that beta from October 15, you can pre-order the game in Standard, Cross-Gen and Ultimate editions from the Microsoft Store, with all digital purchases applicable for the early access period.

This a Treyarch COD game?
Nevermind.
@KelticDevil Sadly Treyarch is the only original development team around. Yeah Infinity Ward is but just by name and who knows about Sledgehammer.
@Tasuki
Trust me, I know. And I am in the minority here.
Infinity Ward is shell of what they used to be, but I try to still give their games a chance. And they have been hit or miss, obviously.
And Sledgehammer almost got killed off after like 2 games. Now they working in support of the other two teams.
I know a lot of people love Treyarch’s games. But I remember playing Treyarch’s glitchy COD3 and hating it on the 360. And most people love “World At War”, but I didn’t.
Keep in mind, I am one of the idiots here for the campaign. And I think WaW was propped up by new Zombies mode.
And I know that almost everyone loves “Black Ops” too. And I hear it has an amazing campaign. So I may give Treyarch another chance soon.
I got a backlog the size of a small country. But I want to re-play some of the old 360 COD games soon. And I will go in order of release. So we’ll see if Treyarch changes my mind at some point.
