If you've been repeatedly crashing Chet's turbo bikes in the new Battletoads game this weekend, you're not alone. Rare, who assisted Dlala Studios with the latest entry, has been sharing some interesting facts over the past few days.
In the first 24-hours of the game's release, 4.3 million turbo bikes were sent to the scrapheap - which equates to around 50 busted bikes every second according to Rare's math. Since then, more than 10 million bikes have been written off.
If you'd like to join in on the fun, Battletoads is available now on both Xbox One and PC via Xbox Game Pass. For those of you who are curious to learn more about the new entry - why not check out our Pure Xbox review. We gave this game eight out of ten stars and said it was a hugely entertaining experience that was well worth a look.

I was at least 20 of those.
The amount of times I’ve crashed those turbo bikes, Chet’s sons would be paying me a visit to give me a good-hiding! Never mind just posting negative rumours about me.
I absolutely love this it’s so much fun.
Several of those are mine. I absolutely loved this game and cracked up constantly with the banter.
Act 3 was a bit of a lull for me but the rest was great. I liked the different challenges individually but I wished there was some beat em up action to keep the flow of the first 2 acts. It wouldn’t have lulled as much and disrupted the flow the game had up to then.
But again, I loved it overall.
Should get around to play this shortly...
Incouraged by the positive comments.
Really like the game. Thought the humor was a bit too goofy at first but I would be lying if I said that it didn't make me laugh several times.
