Update: It's official! Harvest Moon: Mad Dash is coming to Xbox One on August 21st.

According to True Achievements, Harvest Moon is indeed making its way to Xbox later this month on August 21st, but it's not a main title - it's a spin-off in the form of puzzler Harvest Moon: Mad Dash.
The website says it has picked up the achievements list for the game, which has previously been released on a wide selection of platforms including Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
It might not be the mainline entry some will have hoped for, but the fact that Harvest Moon is even releasing at all on Xbox is cause for celebration - let's hope we see more of these games make their way to Xbox in the future!

My childhood game
It’d be nice if it was a true Harvest Moon game.
I thought no Harvest Moon was an actual Harvest Moon anymore? Aren't the games now called that just junk made by the Western license holder of the HM name and the real series are now known by their Japanese title of Story of Seasons?

@IronMan30 but Xbox is for shooters !?! Lol couldn’t resist, honestly I don’t think Marvelous has ever put any of their games on any Xbox ever. Could be mistaken, but they generally do not work with Xbox consoles. And the recent Mineral Town Remake was their first one on PC, so...
@mousieone jokes aside, SE and other bigger Japanese publishers routinely put games on Xbox consoles. I know PS fanboys don't like acknowledging that, though. Lol

@IronMan30 kinda. Cute sim games tend to skip Xbox, even in 360 heyday. I mean a few released as “Japan only”. By and large it’s never been home for that style, visual novels tend to suffer the same fate. But with massive popularity of Stardew and ACNH things may change.
