The game is said to be in early development for now, and will be a reimagining of the series, "taking what has made Forza Motorsport great over the past 15 years and pairing it with new game concepts and new technologies."
"The Xbox Series X, with its focus on speed and power, provides us the opportunity to connect our players to the Forza universe, and to one another, like never before. It’s so exciting to start sharing our work with you."

Nice, now this is something that I can get excited about. Everyone has their games that excite them and make them want a new console, for me it has been racing sims. Forza 5 is the entire reason I was excited to get a Xbox One when it launched.
Not excited at all now they develop at Gran Turisimo speed. Where have they been the last years when they not even can show some gameplay? I am afraid that we don't have a new FM the next comming two years.
I'm super excited for this!
I did (wrongly) assume I'd be playing it alongside Halo at launch.
It sounds like it's still a long way off.
It's looking good, can't wait to play it. Will be interesting to see what they've done with the career mode. Until then will just keep playing the older games and horizon 4 getting an update will be great to see.
I am shocked this game isn’t coming at launch. But if Turn 10 is re-doing the series, that explains it. It looked really good though!
