Far Cry 6 Leaks On PlayStation Store, Releases Next February

Update: Following the leak, Ubisoft has shared a brief teaser of the game on social media, hinting that it will get a full reveal at Ubisoft Forward this Sunday. You can watch the snippet below:

Original Story: Don't worry Xbox fans, it's not the Microsoft Store doing the leaking this time! Far Cry 6 has been revealed via the Hong Kong PlayStation Store of all places, unveiling a bunch of details including that the game will seemingly release on February 18th, 2021.

The other obvious thing to note is that the game stars Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad fame, who had previously been rumoured to feature. According to our friends over at Push Square, the listing states the game will include the "largest Far Cry playground to date across jungles, beaches and Esperanza the capital city of Yara."

Far Cry 6 is apparently coming to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 early next year, so we're assuming the same will be true of the Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It looks like it will support Smart Delivery as well. We're expecting to find out more at this Sunday's Ubisoft Forward event.

"Welcome to Yara, a tropical paradise frozen in time. As the dictator of Yara, Anton Castillo is intent on restoring his nation back to its former glory by any means, with his son, Diego, following in his bloody footsteps. Their ruthless oppression has ignited a revolution"
