Update (Sun 5th Jul, 2020 22:20 BST): Ubisoft has quickly issued a copyright claim on the original video, but it already looks to be popping up elsewhere. Here are some screenshots if you missed it:
Original story (Sun 5th Jul, 2020 22:10 BST): Gameplay footage from an early, work-in-progress version of Assassin's Creed Valhalla has leaked online. It surfaced via an anonymous upload on YouTube.
The footage looks to be in quite a rough state at times, suffering from bugs, frame rate issues, awkward animations and skipping cutscenes, suggesting this is far from the finished product.
Ubisoft will no doubt be disappointed at the leak, but we'll hopefully get to see some new, official gameplay of Assassin's Creed Valhalla at its Ubisoft Forward event next week on Sunday, July 12.

Yeah, that was really rough in places. Shame, definitely not how you want your game to be revealed.
The gameplay looks like a reskin of the previous game and, as its only a 720p video (at least the ones I have seen) its difficult to tell what, if anything, any visual upgrades this could be bringing. Of course it could be Xbox One game-play too rather than next gen, but with the low res and 'early' build status, its impossible to tell.
At least its some game-play at last...
Didn't look massively different from Odyssey.
Hard pass for me. AC hasn't been AC in a while and while I enjoyed Odyssey, they could have introduced it as a new franchise and I would not have noticed. (Seriously if it had been the gods and monsters game I would not have missed the AC tie at all) The best thing about Odyssey is the quest creator just because I can make the story something I enjoy (and Kassandra's voice acting).
