It's been well over a year since XIII Remake was first announced, but now it's been confirmed that the game will be arriving for Xbox One on November 10, 2020. The new date was revealed via IGN's Summer of Gaming event.
If you've never played it, XIII is a cel-shaded FPS game that released for the original Xbox back in 2003, and subsequently became a cult classic. XIII Remake was revealed back in April 2019, but was delayed by PlayMagic Ltd and Microids to 2020 "in order to give the game more time to reach the quality and the polish level we are aiming for."

You play as “XIII”, a man without an identity, in a solo campaign with numerous twists and turns. Inspired by the eponymous graphic novel, the game features a completely reinvented and unique cel-shading design. In XIII, players can also take part in fierce multi-player fights.

This is pretty cool! I never got this on the OG Xbox, so I’d be interested in giving this a try.
This was a great game, and a fantastic comics series back in the day, so if this is a 1:1 remake, then count me in.
I loved this game on Xbox. This version seems to have lost some of the comic book charm by upping the resolution and polygon count. Fingers crossed it plays as good as the original.
Remember playing this all those years ago, looking forward to seeing how this turns out...
Oh I played it long time ago in pc, it was cool! Also multiplayer had bots too and deathmatch was lot of fun!
I remember playing this back on the GameCube. Cel shaded graphics were new then, with Cel damage and the like around at the time.
Will be interesting to see if the level design has aged to today's standards.
@ThanosReXXX Yes I remember that at the time. It was based on a French comic or something like that if I remember...?
Maybe it's my age but the one thing I remember is David Duchovny of the X-Files voiced the main character.
@pip_muzz Close: it was a Belgian comic. Written in French, though...
@ThanosReXXX Thanks for the clarification. I may also be mistaken but I believe it was the same Ubisoft Studio that made the Red Steel games for Wii. They certainly felt similar.
Edit: just googled and Ubisoft Paris did both but they only seemed to be a support developer for XIII
@pip_muzz You're welcome. I actually also thought it was French when I first got to know the comic, so it's an easy mistake to make. Not many people realize that Belgium is a country with several languages.
@ThanosReXXX Yes I've been there a couple of times. I stayed in the Flemish speaking part last time I went.
