If you've been hoping to hear more about The Elder Scrolls VI this year, we've got some bad news. Bethesda SVP of global marketing Pete Hines has reiterated to a fan on Twitter that details on the game are likely surface "years from now," pointing out that upcoming title Starfield is next in line from the studio.
In making the comment, Hines noted that if fans are expecting details on The Elder Scrolls VI in the near future, he's "failing to properly manage your expectations":
We still know very little about The Elder Scrolls VI aside from a teaser trailer that was released back in 2018, and Bethesda has stressed on multiple occasions for fans to remain patient. Meanwhile, Starfield is Bethesda's new RPG (confirmed for Xbox Series X), and has been called “the biggest most epic science fiction thing you could possibly imagine" by director of Bethesda Games Todd Howard.

Never understood the hype for Bethesda games.
I love my Bethesda games, but we know nothing about Starfield either.....much less Elder Scrolls 6.
We better get some details on Starfield this summer.
Maybe they launch Skyrim one more time for Series X?
But, I would like to hear something about Fallout 5.
