Update: Here's an update we didn't think we'd be sharing! According to website Seasoned Gaming, a representative from Naughty Dog has reached out to suggest the LinkedIn profile for Edgar Newman is completely fake. We'll update you when/if we hear anything more on this.
Original Story (Thu 30th Apr, 2020 11:20 BST): Fans of developer Double Fine will already know that the company is working on a sequel to 2005 game Psychonauts, but according to a LinkedIn profile, a "AAA unannounced project" is in the works as well, as revealed by its apparent Lead Game Designer Edgar Newman.
The profile suggests that Newman, who previously was Senior Game Designer at Naughty Dog on the highly-anticipated The Last Of Us Part II, began working with Double Fine earlier this month. The developer has also worked on the likes of Fable II and Tom Clancy's: The Division.
Nothing else has been revealed for now, although we're anticipating this "unannounced project" will likely be released for Xbox Series X, given that Double Fine joined Xbox Game Studios back in June 2019, and the game is probably still in early development. Maybe we'll get a teaser in the near future? Let's hope so.

Not going to lie, this might be the AAA game I'm most interested in hearing about from Xbox Game Studios, not because I'm a Double Fine fan, (because I'm not) but because their game is going to be the hardest to predict in what it is. Looking at a Wiki article of their previous games, they definitely have experience in quite a few different genres.
Excellent, new franchises are what new console generations are about in my opinion!
It will be interesting to see what Double Fine can do with a AAA budget.
