GTA 6 Appears On Actor's Resume, And He Responds With A Statement

It's pretty safe to assume Grand Theft Auto VI is coming at some point in the future. But when? That's the big question on GTA fans' minds. We might have received a hint in the form of a potential cast member, however, whose resume initially suggested they did CGI motion capture for GTA 6 back in 2018.

This information was shared by Inverse, which mentioned that the CV for actor Jorge Cansejo originally featured the game before being removed in recent days, apparently having last been modified on March 31, 2020.

Inverse hinted that Cansejo could be playing a relatively big role in the game given the "featured" status next to his character in the resume (but likely not a protagonist), and also speculated that based on the 2018 CGI date, it's possible an announcement or teaser for the game could be revealed in 2020 or 2021.

As a result of the news, it seems GTA fans across the web have been hammering at the door of Jorge Cansejo's Twitter account, desperate for more information. Naturally, the actor hasn't said anything about a potential role in the game, but he did seemingly respond to the rumours a week ago:

Elsewhere, actor Ned Luke, who played Michael De Santa in GTA V, suggested fans need to stop paying attention to rumours regarding GTA VI, such as its rumoured setting of Vice City. Speaking via a live Instagram chat with GTA V co-star Shawn Fonteno (Franklin Clinton), Luke questioned how people acquire GTA VI leaks in the first place:

"They said GTA 6 is gonna be made in Vice City. How do these people get all this information of what's going to be what? People, do you not understand? Do not believe anything that you see on the internet from, you know, [MrBossFTW] or whatever his name is or any of those guys - don't listen to those guys, they have no inside information, they're just clickbait. And if you hear it from Rockstar, then you know."

What do you make of this story? Do you think GTA 6 will be revealed soon? Let us know in the comments.
