Free Play Days: Try Hitman, Gears 5 And Four Other Xbox Games This Weekend

Update: (Fri 10th Apr, 2020 09:30 BST): Microsoft has now confirmed these titles, as well as a few extra discounts. You can get the Standard and Ultimate Editions of Gears 5 for 50% and 45% off respectively, Override: Mech City Brawl for 85% off, and The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for 60% off throughout the Free Play Days promotion.

Additionally, it's also been confirmed that NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 will be free-to-play through next Wednesday, April 15th, so you've got a few more days to try it out.

Original Story: (Thu 9th Apr, 2020 11:30 BST): Looking for more free games to play this weekend on Xbox One? Fortunately, there are quite a few available as part of Microsoft's Xbox Live Gold Free Play Days promotion, including three new titles for this weekend, and three we've already seen in recent days and weeks.

Let's start with the new listings. Starting today, you'll be able to play the critically-acclaimed Hitman: The Complete First Season, arcade basketball game NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, and Modus Games brawler Override: Mech City Brawl. Additionally, Gears 5 remains part of the Free Play Days package throughout the weekend (it's been free all week), while The Elder Scrolls Online is still available until Monday, and Starlink: Battle for Atlas for another couple of weeks.

As always, remember that you'll require Xbox Live Gold (or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) to take advantage of these Free Play Days titles. Xbox hasn't officially announced them yet, but we're assuming they'll be live from today (Thursday, April 9th) until Sunday, April 12th at 11:59 pm PDT, aside from The Elder Scrolls Online, which will be available until April 13th at 06:59 am PDT, and Starlink: Battle for Atlas, which will apparently be available until April 22nd.
