Given that video games are serious business these days, it's always nice to see a major platform holder poke fun at itself – and that's precisely what Microsoft has done today as part of its big Xbox Series X reveal.
When the console was first shown off a while ago, many people compared its unusual form factor to that of a fridge freezer. As we now know, the console is designed this way so that it can maintain a cool running temperature without taking up too much room, but that hasn't stopped people making jokes at Microsoft's expense.
Still, the company can see the funny side, and has issued the following tweet which includes – you guessed it – a fridge for size comparison:
Does the Series X's shape put you off making a purchase, or do you happen to quite like the way it looks? As ever, we want to know, so share your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

You know what? That's pretty cool.
Xbox and chill.
Looks like a Desktop computer to me. Cool, but it wouldn't fit where I put my consoles now.
Keep cool and consume within 5 days.
This is a great Tweet. Love it when games companies do stuff like this.
"Does the Series X's shape put you off making a purchase..."
Somehow I picture myself starring at the screen most of the time, so the console shape isn't as important as how games will look and play. So, uhm...no. Not at all.
