As we reported on Friday, Microsoft will indeed be partaking in the annual Black Friday madness next week and have shed a little more light on the sort of thing that will be going on.
A new video promises savings on "over 150 games" where you'll be able to save "up to 40-60%."
The video does show some boxart for a bunch of titles, which are as follows (Xbox One version unless stated):-
- Batman: Arkham Knight
- Bioshock Infinite (360)
- Borderlands: The Handsome Collection
- Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (360)
- Castle Crashers (360)
- Evolve
- Far Cry 4
- FIFA 16 (360)
- Forza Motorsport 6
- Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
- Goat Simulator: Mmore Goatz Edition (360)
- Grand Theft Auto V (360)
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection
- Madden NFL 16
- Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (Game of the Year Edition)
- NBA 2k16
- NHL 16
- The Escapists
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Obviously, that isn't anything like a complete list, but it's what can be seen in the ad, so we assume they'll all be discounted.
There's also a bit of a bonus for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. If you do indeed have a Gold account, you'll be able to get in early to pick up the savings, from November 20th. Everybody else has to wait until the 24th. You'll also save up to an extra 10% more on the basic deal prices.
If you DON'T have Xbox Live Gold, you'll be able to upgrade to Gold for just $1, although details on this have yet to be confirmed. We're assuming that it's a single-month subscription, rather than anything more substantial.
The full advert can be seen below, and we'll bring you all those sweet deals just as soon as we have our hands on the list.

I hear so much aboit how PSN is such a better value..but upgrading for 1 buck then saving more because you have gold now seems pretty sweet. Never had a Playstation before though so what do I know.
Glad I bought a 2TB harddrive earlier this year.
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi
I have had all the PlayStations. PSN is not a better value.
I thought it was a Dead Rising deal when I saw that picture!
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi PSN is basically the same as Xbox Live - this is different from 'Gold' and 'PS+' - the subscription service that allows you to play online (via Live or PSN), gives these discounts and offers 'free' games. Both PSN and Live enables you to buy digital games and both charge similar amounts. Its only if you subscribe to Gold or PS+ that discounts like these are available.
I have both a PS4 and XB1 (Also a PS3 and XB360) and I also have both Gold and PS+. At one point, before the next gen systems were released, you could argue that one was better than the other - after all online gaming was free on PS3 and PS+ did offer some newer and arguably better free games with some big discounts too. Gold though did become better value for Xbox owners when they started the GWG. Before that, we still paid for online etc, but with the truly 'free' (i.e. you owned them forever) it made this a much better value service.
With the next gen consoles though, Both PS+ and Gold are very very similar. both offer 'free' games every month that require you to maintain your subscription to play, both are required to play online although Gold is required for a few more apps that PS+ is not required for and both offer some big discounts on its digital library. I think that cost of either can be offset by the 'savings' and value of free games (assuming you take advantage of any of these) Both enhance my gaming experience regardless but I personally can't say that one is better value.
I do think that PSN (which is different) is not as reliable or consistent as Xbox Live is but I do think it has improved over the years. As both are basically free (i.e you can use this for certain features/apps, updates to games but not online gaming or get the discounts/free games) I think PSN could be better value as it does allow access to more products/apps - however if these do not appeal, then Live is better because it is more stable and consistent.
@Utena-mobile @BAMozzy
