We're all aware that Microsoft is gearing up for a big Windows 10 event on January 21st, and that there will likely be some mention of the Xbox One platform during that show. With the company pushing for a unified operating system across all of its devices, we'd imagine at least some sort of passing reference.
However, it could be that we see more than we bargained for, if a recent tweet from Microsoft Program Manager Soumow Dollon's account is anything to go by.

Dollon is a Program Manager in the Windows, Windows Phone, and Xbox Kernel team at Microsoft in Redmond, and there's no mistaking the Xbox logo being present as part of that overall "W1ND0WS" logo.
We're not holding our breath, but there could be something big in the works...
Of course, we'll bring you all the details just as soon as we have them.

great rumors, we'll see
Well, this could be big. Let's hope MS redeems Windows the way they did Xbox.
I said it before and I'll say it again. I want second screen mirroring with windows 10 devices.
I like windows but since Windows 7 MS have definitely lost the plot a bit. I've been using the tech preview and while there are improvements on 8.1 the whole thing feels more like 8.5 than a new version. Jumping straight to version 10 sets the expectancy bar way too high...
Back to the topic it hand - if this one OS for all results in more apps and games for the Xbox and Windows Phone then I'm all for it.
@EternalDragonX
I completely agree. Every other format has options for second screen streaming PS4>Vita Wii U>Gamepad PC>Multiple options (Onlive cloud lift etc...) so it seems crazy that Microsoft don't, I'd love it if Smartglass brought that, I'd either be able to use android tablet plugged into TV or Windows 8 laptop. Although if it was a Windows 10 exclusive feature I'd consider upgrading.
@flameboy84 I wouldn't be surprised if screen mirroring was in the cards. After all, I'm sure it won't be too long before every region will have TV mirroring via Smartglass, it seems like gaming would be the next logical step. But yea screen mirroring is something that would definitely get me to invest in Windows 10 as well.
I've been clinging onto Win7 until last month when my laptop died. My new one came pre-installed with 8.1 and it's growing on me. I'd need to see something mind-blowing to warrant an upgrade on my two PCs to Win 10.
isn't her tweet actually spelt wrong?
Compared to the t-shirt
As a Windows 7 user i'm curious to see the final version of Windows 10. Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 never click with me at least not with PC for tablets and smartphones there ok.
