Right then, who's ready for another major Xbox sale?! Well, it should be just around the corner, as the Xbox Lunar New Year Sale always happens around this time of the year, and in some ways we're surprised it's not here yet!
Based on previous years, we were expecting the sale to land in late January, but now we think it'll be early February. Below, we've provided some educated guesses as to when it might be available.
When Is The Xbox Lunar New Year Sale 2026?
It looks like the Xbox Lunar New Year Sale will either begin on February 3rd or February 6th, but it could potentially be even later than that. Many of the current Xbox Store sales end at the beginning of the month, so it'd make sense if the Lunar New Year Sale starts on one of those dates. That said, the Lunar New Year itself isn't officially until February 17th, so they've got time if they want to delay the Xbox sale a bit.

- Xbox Lunar New Year Sale 2023: January 17 - January 24
- Xbox Lunar New Year Sale 2022: January 25 - February 2
- Xbox Lunar New Year Sale 2021: February 9 - February 16
Looking back to last year's version, we're probably going to get around 600+ games discounted during the Xbox Lunar New Year Sale 2026, many of which will be major AAA titles. We don't expect any discounted Xbox consoles though.
