Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 7-8)

Welcome to another weekend! We're well into February now, and Xbox keeps adding stuff to the 2026 Game Pass library, which means we've got plenty to be getting stuck into over our few days of downtime.

Here's what we're playing this weekend:

I'm planning on jumping into some more Space Marine 2 this weekend, following the game's XGP arrival the other week. This is a really solid shooter thus far, and despite some gripes with the whole hub system and how entering different modes works, I'm having a lot of fun with Saber Interactive's Space Marine sequel.

Outside of that, I booted up the first Forza Horizon recently as I look back before Forza Horizon 6, so my trip down FH memory lane may continue this weekend. Finally, the Game Pass addition of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii has me intrigued; I've never played the series before but Fraser's told me I should try it! Maybe now's the time...

Have a nice weekend, folks.

I do really want to play Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, but as I mentioned the other day when it was announced for Xbox Game Pass, there's also a part of me that really wants to start with Yakuza 0 and work my way through the series. That's probably not a realistic goal, so perhaps I'll cave and play Pirate Yakuza this weekend anyway.

I'm still playing Fable: Anniversary as well — I mentioned last weekend how I'd be sharing some thoughts in an article on the Sunday, which didn't end up happening, but it should be going live this Sunday instead. Long story short, I'm enjoying my first few hours with it so far, and it's surprised me in quite a few ways!

Have a great weekend, everyone.
