Update: The Verge has confirmed that Nvidia's GeForce Now service is working with the new Xbox browser, meaning you can play PC games on your Xbox console through the power of cloud streaming.

However, playing games that require the use of a mouse and keyboard is reportedly not the most ideal experience right now, and you may find that the latency isn't great for multiplayer games. Basically, expect a few quirks!

We've put together a guide to help you get started with GeForce Now on Xbox. Check it out!

Original story: The recent addition of an updated Microsoft Edge internet browser for Xbox has led to a wide range of possibilities, such as playing Google Stadia games on your console, and you should be able to play PC games on it soon as well.

This is thanks to an update for Nvidia's GeForce Now service, which as highlighted by The Verge, has rolled out a new client providing beta support for the Microsoft Edge browser. Seeing as the new Xbox browser is effectively the PC version of Microsoft Edge running on console, this should mean GeForce Now will work on Xbox very soon.

For those who aren't in the know, GeForce Now is a service that allows you to stream the likes of certain Steam and Epic Games Store titles remotely via the cloud, so you can play them on a range of devices.

GeForce Now was previously unlocked for Xbox Insiders on the new browser many months ago, but suffered a few teething issues - most of which were on Xbox's end, as the browser was missing features such as mouse and keyboard support at the time. Now though, we're hopeful that GeForce Now will be an excellent way to experience PC games on Xbox via the power of cloud streaming in the very near future.
