We've got some good news, as it's been confirmed that Forza Horizon 5 has 'gone Gold' ahead of its November 9th launch, which means the game is "now off for pressing of retail discs and final setup for digital release."
The team described the announcement as an "important milestone" in a message to fans earlier today:
"Forza fans, we’ve reached an important milestone on the road to Forza Horizon 5 – we’ve gone gold! That means the game is now off for pressing of retail discs and final setup for digital release. This is a moment that represents the incredible accomplishments of everyone who worked on the game..."
To celebrate today's reveal, the soundtracks for a variety of in-game radio stations have also been shared (you can see them below), which include songs from artists such as Deadmaus, Foo Fighters, Beastie Boys and more, along with a sneak peek at the Series 1 Festival playlist which kicks off in the Summer season on November 11th. This will be my official first predownload and day 1 game I play since joining Xbox just over a year ago....bring it on!!!
Can’t wait for fh5. They’ve shown so much doing their Forza play series and everything seems perfect. Really good artists, really good music, graphics events cars customization. Truly a complete package and people are going to put months into the game.
I’m expecting this to be great, it looks it. Roll on November. 2 big hitters from Xbox in the next 2 months, I need to try and finish off Hades before then 🤣
Got the upgrade package so roll on 5th November for me. My most hyped game of the year and I honestly can't see it missing the mark in any way.
Here’s hoping that they have enough gigabytes to dedicate to the end credits of this game.
