Xbox Promises To Make Mini Fridges After Winning Twitter Contest

Update: It's happening! After a very close battle, Xbox came out on top versus Skittles with 50.5% of the vote, with well over 500,000 votes collected in all. In response, Xbox's Aaron Greenberg promised to make the mini fridges a reality:

"Thanks to everyone who voted, this was down to the wire and thrilling to follow. Now that Xbox won, we will move forward on our promise to make those Xbox Series X Mini Fridges. First one off the line will be filled with games & headed to our friends at Skittles of course!"

Original story: Twitter is currently hosting a competition to find out the "best of tweets" brand champion. It includes companies like Pizza Hut, Wendys, Doritos, MTV and Microsoft's Xbox.

For the grand finale, it's Xbox up against the fruit-flavored candy, Skittles. At the time of writing, there are around 10 hours remaining on the poll. The votes are split at roughly 50% and so far there have been more than 150,000 votes.

Skittles has already played its card - if it wins, it says it will bring back lime Skittles. Xbox's Aaron Greenberg has now countered this with the promise of a "real" Xbox Series X mini fridge.

The Xbox Series X mini fridge stems from the bigger version, which started out as a meme. A much smaller version was recently part of a collaboration with The Rock and was branded with his energy drink, ZOA.
