These 20 Games Are Now Available With Xbox Game Pass (March 12)

Excellent! I own many of those already but welcome the rest.

I might finish The Evil Within and Dishonored 2 but that is all. Dont want to play any of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games or old games like original Doom or games i have already completed. But this is a Huge list for every one else that is a game pass member and is only the beginning of great things!!!

Holy crap, this is fantastic! I’ve been meaning to replay the Wolfenstein games because they are some of my favorite shooters around, so it’s nice to know I can download them tomorrow and play them at my convenience.

Does this mean on the ESO for pc that I will no longer have to pay the subscription for the crafting bag?

@Medic_Alert Could be, although some of the games that are coming are also on PS Now.. Still, could be that contracts are different per game or something?

Just started it today and so far, to my surprise, I like it!

Fantastic deal for game pass owners, which imo is the best service in gaming, phenomenal content.

My already significant gamepass backlog is getting added to and rearranged. Best deal in gaming.

This is giving me an urge to binge play some of these games... even if I already owned some of the ones I am thinking about binging 😅

Wait is the new Doom not on GamePass? The prequel to eternal is include the year but I don’t remember what year lol

Pretty certain some of these are already available on console. And most of the others have been on until recently.

I will have to make a list of all the Bethesda games that are NOT on GamePass...

Next job is to bring the Quake games to PC Game Pass.

The Evil Within is rough but great, in some ways better than the sequel but the sequel is also better in other ways. They're quite different (the director is different, too). I can't wait to know what games get FPS boost that has become my favourite Series X feature.

For those wondering, more Bethesda games will come to Game Pass, including The Evil Within 2 and Doom (2016). Be patient!

Hasn't Fallout: New Vegas been available on console Game Pass for months now? And The Elder Scrolls Online as well, or would this mean it includes the monthly fee for TES: Online now?

If Microsoft pulled Bethesda games off other platforms, what happens if you made a digital purchase have to delete and download the game again?

Looks like Microsoft pulled the trigger a little early in North America.

As of 11:15 EST, I was able to download these games on Game Pass.

Eugh, I literally bought Prey, Fallout NV, Oblivion and Morrowind a few months ago! I have Fallout 4 on PS4/5 as well.

@ISD1982 this has been the story of my life the last year or so. I tend to wait for games to drop to the £30 mark but Game Pass or PS Plus have been adding them near enough the very next month.

Doom Eternal - came on Game Pass 2 weeks later
Greedfall - Came on Game Pass AND Plus within a couple of months.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake - Bought last month, now on PS Plus ( although I can upgrade to ps5 version which cannot be done with plus version)
Classic Dooms - Bought these on ps last month because they were 1.99 each, obviously going on GP today.

Don't think I will bother buying games any more lol

@outsider83 they won't be allowed to do that, did Sony pull sunset overdrive from Microsofts store? That would probably be a breach of contract as those games have a contract in place. Unless Bethesda wants to refund hundreds of millions to all those playstation and nintendo players that have bought previous games

Sure this is unlikely, but has anyone tried Fallout 4 today to see if it now has FPS boost? I know they haven't said it would yet but it seems strange to me that they would wait and add it at a later date.

Most these games have been on deep sales constantly. I have passed on them thinking they would come to GP, and now here they are... But is there a chance that they won't go on deep sales anymore? 🤔

If I cancel GP, I might be stuck paying near full price of these sales stop...

@UltimateOtaku91 they are unlikely to do that but they are very well allowed to. It's not often, but publishers can unlist games. Mostly it's done when a publisher licensing deal expires, or (more rarely) if they want to sell some remaster instead.

Unlisted games can still be downloaded, if you own them.

Once in a while they go further and entirely remove the title, those can't ever be re-downloaded. Mostly happens to demos.

I bought 12 months gold and was hoping to use the £1 Game Pass conversion, but doesn't seem to work. So ended up with £10.99 and says it will be that next month, so think I might just leave Game Pass till I have completed the games I already have and then sign in at a later date. Not paying £15 a month on top of the PS+ that i've got too!

@Tharsman ah you mean like the PT Demo? Maybe phils comment about supporting current communities means they wouldnt take bethesdas games off the PlayStation store or e-shop.

@UltimateOtaku91 that is exactly what they mean, that and patching and maintaining any related services. Doom Eternal DLC, for example. If Fallout 4 creator store (or whatever its called) needs patching or maintenance, it will get the work.

If you watch the whole presentation, it's clear that when they talk about "communities" they mean those currently playing online games or building stuff for games with sharable content.

Edit: also I'm sure more demos do vanish forever, more often than not I think its pre-launch preview demos. PT is just the most famous because it was all people had left of that experiment.

@Medic_Alert I have not noticed many sales for first party games, thugh. The discounts on minectaft Dungeons matches the current price on physical almisr everywhere, and the DLC discounts are actually rather small.

@Medic_Alert yea I think Microsofts goal with first party games is: buy full price, get GamePass, or get it physically.

Also notice how rare it is to see a first party game hit free games with gold.
