It was revealed yesterday that no less than 17 (!) games would be coming to Xbox Game Pass between December 3rd and December 10th, and it looks like there's still plenty to come throughout the month of December.
Following the announcement, general manager of business and content planning for Xbox Game Pass Matt Percy took to Twitter to tease that the service is "just getting warmed up ahead of the holiday season".
We already know of a couple extra additions heading to Xbox Game Pass later in the month, including a massive batch of titles for PC in the form of EA Play on December 15th, but hopefully there's still plenty to come.
Interestingly, yesterday's batch of official Xbox Game Pass announcements signed off with the Xbox team telling fans it will 'see them at the Game Awards', which takes place next Thursday, December 10th.
What are you hoping to see from Xbox Game Pass throughout the rest of December? Let us know down below.

Hmm. I wonder if they have some big Game Pass news for The Game Awards?
Mmmm me think i should hold off on my purchase of Cyberpunk 2077. Just a feeling. We might see it for the holidays.
I know that most people don't think or care about this, but I think it's wonderful that Microsoft does these kinds of things of announcing a bunch of games coming to Game Pass and then teasing more surprises to come throughout the month. It's a good way of generating continuous interest in your service, instead of just announcing everything at once and being silent until next month.
@LtSarge
Then people will complain more. This is fine how they do it now. Announced first group in the first half of the month then announced the rest for the month around the middle of the month
Well they always announce in 2 batches 1-15 then 15-30
But they always randomly omit a few that just show up
Ala phogs wasn't listed but us confirmed by the devs to be hitting game pass this week
Remember last year when they said all of the Final Fantasy games would be on game pass in 2020. It's December and we're still waiting on X, X-2, XII and the XIII series. Their announcements can't be trusted.
The "Game Awards" next Thursday will see Microsoft announcing the new range of "Game Pass" additions from their new "Sega purchase.
Arriving Monday 14th December are....
Sonic the Hedgehog, Jet Set Radio, Panzer Dragoon, Echo, Virtua fighter, Phantasy Star, Out run....etc đ
@Titan_Tangler There could be an announcement with those coming to Game Pass in the rest of December alongside an announcement of FFVII Remake coming to Xbox in April.
@Grumblevolcano I really hope so. I'm working my way through VII now in preparation for the remake
@Titan_Tangler Umm thatâs was actually at XO not the game awards they said that. And they have added FF titles slowly to the service. Itâs be different if that was not the case but itâs a lot of titles to slowly work through.
@mousieone I didn't say it was at the game awards. My point was that I can't trust their long term announcements. I'd rather they didn't say anything until a week before something is definitely coming.
@Titan_Tangler Iâm not sure how itâs not trust worthy when 8 literally just got added. And they brought KH which wasnât announced for GP over to. Clearly they are doing it just in parts. You donât want to flood the service with JRPGs. They take a long time to play and seeing a bunch at once means they are less likely to get played. Like do you think anyone is going to play FF9 if it gets release with KH3?
I donât see how thatâs untrustworthy.
It could be a big partnership with Sega to get all their games on Game Pass, similar to their deal with EA Play.
And that would be huge.
@LtSarge
I completely agree.
@Titan_Tangler
As others have said.....they arenât going to put tons of JRPGs on the service at once. That would be ridiculous. And how has Microsoft been âuntrustworthyâ when it comes to Game Pass? đ
I just want pso2 new genesis news, Sega!
@KelticDevil You're not getting it. They've had a YEAR
