- Minecraft Dungeons
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps
- Tell Me Why
- Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2

What a weak nominees list. Let’s hope for our sake it gets a lot better soon...
Easily the stand out game from that list. Amazing game. Here's to a stronger list next year.
Easily Xbox game of the year for me and one of the best games ot the year period. The Series X version is even more breathtaking and all the issues have been ironed out.
However Xbox needs to do better than that shortlist every year.
Looking forward to playing this game when I get my Series X some time in the future.
Wow that is a shocking list, most of them aren't even xbox exclusives either so I don't know why they were nominated.
Fingers crossed xbox get a better list next year
I haven't played it yet but heard it's fantastic. I want to play the first bone before moving on to the will of the wisps
@Reverandjames No, Tell me Why and Bleeding Edge are also Xbox games. And Ori, despite being an MS IP was also published on the Switch like Minecraft Dungeons which is also a MS studios.
Should of been nominated for GOTY
@Bmartin001 Sure I agree that Doom Eternal over Ori makes no sense but TLoU2 is going to win anyway. I don’t think it matters.
I’m just hoping it wins for soundtrack because Gareth’s work on Ori is simply haunting.
Ori is a FANTASTIC series, Microsoft should be pushing the hell out of it.
They should also consider getting more games on the shelf lol
