Far Cry 6 was delayed a few weeks ago, but it might already have a new release date if the Microsoft Store is to be believed.
Originally, the game was intended to release on February 19, 2021, however was pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The Xbox Store listing suggests that the game will now be available on May 25, 2021.
It is worth noting that this date could simply be a placeholder, of course.
The delay was intended to create the game players "inspire to play" while also "focusing on the well-being of [its] teams" in the current climate. At the time no new release date was announced.
The first quarter of the year now has plenty of room for other Ubisoft titles, including Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake and Riders Republic.

"Wow, no comments yet... why not be the first?"
Don't mind if I do!
I hope this game gets some of the mechanics of Far Cry 2, such as guns that break down. It would enhance the setting.
