Ubisoft officially revealed Immortals Fenyx Rising at Ubisoft Forward yesterday - a "fresh and witty take on the open world action adventure genre" that was formerly known as Gods & Monsters.
We were treated to a trailer as part of the event, but the post-show also featured 11 full minutes of straight gameplay footage from the title, accompanied with a audio walkthrough from the game's director. Check it out above!
Immortals: Fenyx Rising is available to pre-order now on the Microsoft Store, and is set to release on December 3rd for Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, with a free upgrade to the next-gen version available via Smart Delivery.
Play as Fenyx on a quest to save the Greek gods from a dark curse. Take on mythological beasts, master the legendary powers of the gods, and defeat Typhon, the deadliest Titan in Greek mythology, in an epic fight for the ages.

The game looks pretty solid. I just wonder how long the game is simply because I have been steering away from open world games lately since I enjoy more compact experiences. From what I saw though, the game looks good.
This game does have my interest.
Im preordering, but I got to admit, some of the Breath of The Wild inspiration is too blatant.
They even copied the blue-crystal-like aesthetic of many weapons, and the energy beam "grab" stuff. Plus the heavy focus on physics puzzles.
Again, interested, but wish UBisoft had been a bit more original, if nothing else, at least with aesthetics.
