Although next gen is just around the corner with backwards compatibility, for £179.99 that's still a powerful piece of gaming kit for the money....
@BANJO Indeed . I just can't wait for Series X and all the backwards compatible goodness, including Xbox One games running at 60 FPS. Looking at you, Monster Hunter World.
@BlueOcean Well not long now to wait till Series X, less than 3 month's according to the leaked release dates... 😀
@BANJO Yep, I and my huge game library are ready 😁.
@Grot I hope that the game gets patched on Series X but the Xbox One X version already has three modes that will be automatically enhanced by the power of Series X:
1. Graphics (quality): uncapped frame rate at 1080p. It runs around 44 on Xbox One X so it will run at 60 FPS on Series X.
2. Resolution: uncapped frame rate at native 3072x1728, not sure if it's dynamic scaling resolution. Runs around 30 on Xbox One X and should run at 60 FPS on Series X at the same resolution or at 4K if this mode uses dynamic scaling resolution.
3. Performance: uncapped frame rate at 1080p. It runs between 40 and 60 on Xbox One X so it will run at 60 FPS on Series X.
On Series X you want to select Resolution because it's up to 4K if it uses dynamic scaling resolution, otherwise native 3072x1728 at 60 FPS with lowest level of detail. You can try Graphics mode, 1080p60 but highest level of detail. You want to ignore Performance because it has the lowest level of detail like Resolution and runs at HD.
@Grot 🤣. Yep, it runs at 864p below 30 FPS on Xbox One.
