I still don't get why CoD: Cold War was not considered. But cool nonetheless.

Ahh a subtitle for a subtitle. After part 2 in 2022 and part 3 in 2024, they will definitely create a subtitle for the subtitle of the subtitle, like:

call of duty black ops cold war: arms race.

I'm not sure if I'm ready to stop playing modern warfare yet.

I’m seriously bored of CoD now have been for awhile, it was amazing back in the 360-era days but then gave it the odd eye roll as each one released throughout XB1 and will no doubt be annually released throughout Series X but how many conflicts does it have to cover and revisit before they run out of ideas and people stop playing?

What about Warzone? Won’t that affect the player base on that game because of a new CoD or vice versa? If I really wanted to play CoD I’d just play Warzone and not bother buying another CoD game. I’m probably in the minority but I’ve played every single CoD since the very first on PC and apart from new maps and weapons with each release it’s still the same experience, almost like once you’ve played one you’ve played them all.

@MaccaMUFC This argument can be made about almost any big AAA franchise and more so about shooters. People who play Fifa and buy a new version every year don't expect a completely new experience every year (I know that is because football doesn't change every year but still). I have heard people say exactly the same about Gears and Halo as well.

I also don't buy CoD expecting them to give me a new experience that is like a new franchise every year. And every time they try to do something outside of satisfying people's military fantasy (as in MW and Black Ops) and try something a bit fresh (like Infinite Warfare or to lesser degree Ghosts) we see how it goes and everyone hates them for it.

I personally don't know if this will be one of the "worse" CoDs or one of the better ones. It is true that this gen it got worse .For me AW,BO3 and Ghosts count among the worst and all of them were this gen basically. But after last year's MW knocked it out of the park I am hopeful this year they can keep the streak.
