Jack Black Shares A Look At Brand-New Psychonauts 2 Gameplay

This may not be a popular opinion, but I really think that Microsoft should have blocked this game on others plaftforms. I know the developpment began before the buying of the studio, but still.

I don't know the behind the scenes deals, but in my opinion, Microsoft should have secured Ori, CupHead,... hell, even Minecraft to Xbox platforms (and PC, of course).

I know, more people playing, it's great, etc... but look at what Sony does with Spiderman. There's a war going on.

And this is coming from a guy who will probably buy a PS5.

@Z3u5000 The Alan Wake IP was sold back to remedy studio so there is no way it will be an exclusive again

@Bobobiwan I think not purchasing the ori studio is big missed opportunity, Totally agree on psychonauts 2 but cuphead was an indie game that which microsoft helped by given them fundings that's why it was exclusive for some time now

@Z3u5000 @experTiger Yeah, and I thought for a long time that Ori and Cuphead were developped by Microsoft studios... With their new habit to buy everything they can buy (and that's good), they really should have bought these two ones...

Cause these games were one of the few that were very emblematic of XBOX ONE. When I learned Ori was coming to Switch, I was like "huh, what ?".

And I have a Switch. But exclusives softwares make a console.

Like... The Outer Worlds add-on : it should be only on XBOX and PC. It should be an asset to SELL their new console, and that would be normal, cause they bought the damn studio.

@Bobobiwan I didn't mind ori in the switch or even cuphead there this type of games fit the switch perfectly and I thought that maybe this happened because of xbox and nintendo new relationship, The outer worlds however I disagree with exclusive dlc with a game that lunched mutiplatform should still be multiplatform unless they do the Outer Worlds 2 then yes that game should be exclusive

Microsoft just can’t forcibly buy Moon Studios if they want to remain independent. Same thing with Studio HDMR. I am sure Microsoft inquired about purchasing them, but may have been shot down.

And I am sure The Outer Worlds 2 will be exclusive. But the first game already had a multi-platform deal in place before the acquisition. Same thing with Double Fine & Psychonauts 2. Those were deals that had nothing to do with Microsoft.
