Answers about the disappearance of Alan Wake might be in the long-sealed Investigations Sector. But something waits for Jesse Faden in the dark.
As Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, Jesse must enter the Investigations Sector and confront the creature lurking within this long-abandoned part of the Bureau. This threat has haunted the sector for years, waiting on the other side of the sealed Firebreak. In order to reclaim the Investigations Sector from its clutches, Jesse will need to explore the numerous Altered World Events investigated here, including one from the town of Bright Falls.

Not really how I’d like to see Alan Wake return, but hey, I’ll take it! Maybe they’re testing the water for a proper sequel...
And bring back Barry Wheeler.
This is kinda cool. I do like me some good, single player DLC.
I have never played an Alan Wake game, nor Control, but been interested in playing them.
I was curious though, because I thought Alan Wake belonged to MS and did some searching, found out it did belong to MS but they gracefully allowed Remedy to buy the rights back.
@Tharsman It is on Gamepass as BC X360 game and I started playing but it hasn't really aged that well (looked awesome back in the day though). I will probably play a next gen version of Control with all the DLC.
I really struggled to get into most of Remedy’s games. Started but never finished Quantum Break, Alan Wake and both original Xbox Max Payne games. I didn’t think they were bad games, just never gripped me.
Control though I thought was great fun, so I’m interested to go back to it with this new DLC and see if it piques my interest in giving Alan Wake another chance.
