Crytek might have delayed its remaster of Crysis, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have to wait around for it.
Instead of that, why not play the original trilogy published by EA? It's now available via the EA Access vault on Xbox One. If you would like to relive these gloriously good-looking games on this service, you'll need to have a subscription.
In a follow-up tweet to a fan, EA explained what it meant by the games being made available on its subscription service through backwards compatibility:
The Crysis games weren't released on the Xbox One, so they use Xbox's backwards compatibility function to be played.
Of course, if you happen to own the original Xbox 360 versions, you can always play them without a subscription to EA Access, as these titles were originally added to the backwards compatibility service in 2018.

Not quite working at the moment, the games are showing in the ea app but when you click to install crysis 1,2 or 3 you get redirected to MS store to purchase the games
Yeah, there might be a technical issue on EA's end. Hopefully, we won't have to wait much longer - I'd like to play the original Crysis again.
We need help us with that (I can't download this game form my Xbox one why ?)
I am going to play this series, but I’ll use discs with backwards compatibility.
If only EA access worked. At all.
@XBontendo What issues are you having with it?
@FraserG I've never been able to even open the app. I've installed it on two different X's and it just errors out. Based on its reviews this seems a common problem
@XBontendo Oh strange! To be honest, I never go through the app when I use EA Access anymore - never been a fan of it. I just go straight to the store page for each game and download from there.
I got the download done overnight, in the end.
