Update: It's now official! EA Sports UFC 4 is coming to Xbox One on August 14th, and is now available for pre-order from the Microsoft Store. You can watch the new trailer above.

Original story: EA Sports UFC 4 has been revealed a little earlier than planned by retailer GAME, with a release date of 14th August, 2020 for Xbox One.

The game's description notes "the fighter you become is shaped by your fight style, your achievements, and your personality," featuring a unified progression system across all modes. Along with a new Career Mode, you'll be able to experience the origins of combat sports in two all-new environments called The Kumite and The Backyard, as well as go online in new Blitz Battles and Online World Championships.

Inside the Octagon, takedown and ground mechanics have reportedly been overhauled, and more fluid clinch-to-strike combinations are said to "offer more responsive and authentic stand-up gameplay."

We've previously heard rumours that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua might feature in the game, and that's absolutely true - both of them are available as pre-order bonuses, along with Backyard and Kumite customisation sets. We'll let you know more on EA Sports UFC 4 when the game is officially revealed later today.
