It's safe to say Halo: Infinite is one of the most anticipated Xbox launch titles of all time, currently scheduled to release alongside the Xbox Series X in Holiday 2020. And now, developer 343 Industries has provided a new look at a behind-the-scenes aspect of the game, highlighting some of its audio field recordings.
You can see the full video above, which shows 343 Industries recording everything from buggies to freakin' fighter jets to gather audio for the upcoming game. The team even rigged up a giant 1918 tractor for the occasion! All of this footage (and audio) was captured in El Camino, California.
And if you're wondering why?! Here's how the official YouTube description describes it:
By capturing multiple vehicles with strategically placed microphones, we can isolate specific sounds and use them for a wide array of vehicles in Halo Infinite.
What do you make of this footage? Let us know if you're pumped for Halo Infinite in the comments.

Great War tractors for Halo confirmed, alright! 😀
343 Industries are making a hell of a lot of effort for the game’s audio which is great news for me when I’m getting a new headset. I hope they put a similar effort in the game’s graphics and make the most of Series X’s power.
This is awesome - also, how fast are they making the Warthogs in this game?!
