Arguably the best baseball series on Xbox One returns next month with Super Mega Baseball 3! Developer Metalhead Software revealed the May 13th launch date earlier today, and admitted the game had been pushed back slightly from its original target of April 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The game will feature an array of additions including a brand-new Franchise mode, improved customisation, enhanced visuals and more. Furthermore, the developer says it's adding two free updates after launch - a team import tool for SMB2 fanatics, and a "major new online mode".
Super Mega Baseball 3 will retail for $44.99, and will feature cross-platform and cross-console matchmaking with PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. There will be free trial and demo versions available too, allowing you to play an unlimited number of games in the online Pennant Race mode.
Will you be picking this one up next month? Let us know in the comments below.
