Microsoft has confirmed that they'll be running a Spring Sale event which will kick off on March 20th.
Details are thin on the ground of course, but it has been confirmed that the event will contain savings of up to 60% on Xbox Store games for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with Gold subscribers getting up to 10% more off.
This year, movies and TV shows will be included in the sales as well.
We'll bring you all of the deals every day of course, but the event is scheduled to kick off on March 20th, and will last through to March 28th.

Sweet, there is a Tomb Raider game that tends to be on sale from time to time. I forgot the full name of it. I always wanted to pick it up but I never did. If it's part of this spring deal then I think it's finally time for me to get it.
Killer Instinct Season purchasing time.
Nice! I love sales events like this. If this is anything like the holiday one, my wallet may not recover until summer.
Nightmare. My main problem is I am too impulsive and I cant resist a sale. I already have a massive backlog as it is that I need to catch up on.
I hope this time they make some sale on the Xbox fitness stuffs...
@shonenjump86 Generally its Tomb Raider: The definitive edition or Tomb Raider and the Temple of Osiris - a follow up to TR: Guardian of Light - assuming you are referring to the Xbox One offerings. I think its likely to be too soon for Rise of the Tomb Raider to get a 'major' discount - the 60% maximum but could be discounted.
I rarely buy digital games in these sales but it may have 1-2 offers that may be of interest to me...
@BAMozzy
Temple of Osiris
Yes, that's the game I meant. Thanks
Crap, I get paid that week...
@Utena-mobile Shantae's on offer at the moment on preorder I think - 25% off. I don't think it'll get any lower than that for a while.
Don't know about Korra, though. That could see a price cut, for sure.
@RustyBullet I feel your pain. Same boat here!
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi
Same here. This does not bode well for that paycheck!
Nice. I've made a killing on both MS' and Sony's digital sales the last six or so months. I usually prefer physical copies of games but the prices I've bought some for on the digital stores are just too good to pass us. Can't wait to see what games are included in this. And since harddrive space isn't an issue on Xbox One, I'm ready to take advantage.
I have Wii U, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this generation (the first time I do) and this far I've found the better deals on Xbox One. Let's see what they bring now!
@KelticDevil
We might soon be poor, but least we'll be happy poor
@Gamer83
Is the PS4 not compatible with external hardrives? I thought that was one of its big advantages when the consoles launched. Also, does a PS4 come with a headset? I was talking to my friend and I was just curious
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi
It came with a headset when I got one on launch but I don't know if still does. As for external harddrives, that's an advantage Xbox One has over PS4, a simple basic feature that even the freaking Wii U has but Sony can't be asked to bother with. It's why I'll probably be buying more third party games for Xbox One in the future. But we'll see, maybe Sony fixes this in a future update though I won't count on it.
@A_BabyRed_Yoshi Yep, the PS4 comes with a little earbud headset/mic right there in the box. But no, PS4 won't work with external HDDs as yet.
@SuperKMx @Gamer83
I guess it's okay it doesn't support it, cause there's no games on that console anyway...
