Microsoft has added 16 new Xbox 360 titles to the Xbox One backwards compatibility list, it has been announced today.
From now (or maybe a little later today), you should be able to take on four retail titles and twelve arcade releases on your Xbox One. The full list is as follows, and contains Hydro Thunder Hurricane so you can rest easy...
Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Additions - December
- Braid
- Deus Ex: Human Revolution (Retail or Digital)
- Doritos Crash Course
- Fable III (Retail or Digital)
- Halo: Reach (Retail or Digital)
- Hydro Thunder Hurricane
- Iron Brigade
- Kane & Lynch 2 (Retail or Digital)
- Motocross Madness
- MS. PAC-MAN
- Peggle
- Portal: Still Alive
- Spelunky
- 'Splosion Man
- Ticket to Ride
- Zuma's Revenge
Microsoft have promised to add new titles to the list each month, so we should expect another handful of games in January. We'd also imagine that one or two of these will turn up in the big Christmas Countdown sale, which kicks off on December 22nd.

I'll happily take Fable 3, Deus Ex, Portal and 'Splosion Man... I enjoyed the first Kane & Lynch... but know nothing about the sequel... so that's a maybe.
Disappointed that Fable Anniversary still isn't on the list though..
Finally! I own a console at the same time Portal is available for it!
And... now I own it. Come on Portal 2!!!
@Utena-mobile yes you can play cross-platform, including party/game chat. Even better, if you're on the X1 you can use all the features like snapped apps, screenshots etc.
HUZZAH, Halo Reach!
Now we can play every main entry in the Halo series on Xbox One.
Oh, I actually have Ms Pac Man. I bought that years ago. Forgot I had it lol. I may play it soon.
Nice! Halo Reach is one of my favorite games in the series so that is a nice inclusion. Keep em comin!
While no Red Dead in there it still a good list of games, good to see Reach, Fable 3 and I didn't mind Iron Brigade who doesn't love Mech battles.
@shonenjump86 Ahhh. Space Adventure Cobra, one of my all time favorite Manga movies, series, comic and game on the old Sega CD.
Glad they added Halo: Reach and Hydro Thunder.
@slpstrm
Lol, I just got into it. I bought the movie and DVDs collection for it. Good series.
I love BC. I still have my 360, but this is so great for Xbox One owners that Microsoft is doing this.
Waiting for Dragons Dogma lets go!
