After playing the Outriders demo I pre-ordered the digital copy of the game and since I was already in the Microsoft store and I needed a new controller I also added a controller to the cart. I just checked the e-mail two days later and it says the controller won't be delivered until April 5th but when I bought it in the store it said 2 to 3 business days until delivery. So to finally get to my question, do I need to cancel the order of the controller and rebuy it to make it get here faster?
Now that is curious. I would assume if the controller is available, then it should ship well before the release date of the pre-ordered game. The two aren't dependent on each other, you simply were filling your shopping basket with goodies. You can always open a Chat with the MS Store and ask. I have always found them to be really reasonable and friendly. Worst case scenario, cancel the controller and stand up a new order.

Do this they can get to the bottom of it and the chat is pretty fast. I have used it several times
