Topic: New NHL 2K just released on iOS . android. NEXT YEAR XBOX ONE / PS4

@Emanouel:  Yeah I totally agree again with you on the WWE games that was the worst gen to be a WWE video game fan.  I had both Day of Reckonings since I had a Gamecube and I had the Smackdown VS Raw games cause I had a PS2. To be honest those two series were pretty good I thought at the time the graphics were better on DoR then SvR but GC had the better graphics chip at the time.  I played the Raw games over at my brother in laws place cause he had an original Xbox and those games I thought were bad no where near as good as the GC or PS2 games.  It almost seemed like the Raw games were just an after thought on the Xbox kinda like well since the other two got games we might as well put on on the Xbox.

Yeah I love NBA Jam, it one of the few Wii games I own and still play it with my friends from time to time.  I also picked up NFL Blitz from the XBLA a few months ago for the Xbox 360 and find it just as good as NBA Jam.  For some reason I think EA does a hella of better job with the arcade sports games then they do Maddens or even Live.  Now I just need an arcade style baseball game.  I heard the Bigs and Bigs 2 are good on Xbox 360 but I haven't tried those yet.  They were sold through the XBL digital games but now I can't seem to find them it looks like they pulled them for some reason .

As for right now I only have a PS4 I have yet to get an Xbox One.  I have a 360 but when MS announced the DRM policy on always online not to mention that it cost $100 more for the kinect something that I would never use, I went with the PS4 this gen first.  I plan on getting an Xbox One for the exclusives but for now budget only permits me to have a PS4 and Wii U.  I am glad that Xbox reversed the DRM policy and all that and decide to release a kinect free Xbox One but by the time they did that I already sunk most of my money into my PS4 preorder and just didn't feel like changing it.

I really don't favor one console over another and I think all 3 companies have their moments, but I enjoy games bottom line and will support all the systems as long as they have games that I want to play on them.

To be honest i loved the Gamecube exclusive Day Of Reckoning way more then the Smackdown series. They did a great job with that one. you are right the graphics were better on the cube. Xbox back then didn't have priority or proper market share  but that all changed with the 360.

Ea has always been good for Hockey, except this year on next gen. It's quite a shame there NBA games have fallen in quality over the years. maybe they should go back into selling the EA BIG sporting brand. NBA STREET, NFL STREET etc.

I had a PS4 but i traded it towards a xbox one instead. Ill probably get a wii u one day as that does have a lot of great exclusives.

@Emanouel:  Yeah the Wii U right now as I am concerned is just kicking Sony and MS's butt in the exclusive game area especially with titles like Super Mario 3D World, Mario Kart and SUper Smash Bros.

@Tasuki, I loved Super mario 3D land on the 3DS, and i know i would just love 3D World, heck even the toad game looks fun. Im waiting to see what type of metroid game nintendo is planning on releasing to the WII-U. I will eventually get one, but for now i have lots of great xbox one games.

@Emanouel:  I hear ya, that's kinda of where I am with getting an Xbox One right now besides the money factor.  Right now I have so many PS4 games that I am playing or will be in the next couple of weeks along with Wii U I don't know if I can  handle another backlog from another system lol.

Super Mario 3D World is possibly my favorite game on the Wii U now.  If you liked 3D Land well then you are really going to enjoy 3D World.

@Tasuki, honestly its quite hard justifying owning a ps4 and xbox one is you already have either console. There aren't enough exclusives to warranty it. maybe in 2years when more exclusives come out then its worth it in my opinion. i had a PS4 but i sold it to get a XB1. 

Thanks for your feedback regarding 3D world, i always found it sloppy playing multi player with New super mario bros on wii / wii-u as you keep bumping into each other. So I'm assuming its a bit easier with 3D as you won't be bumping into each other as often.

I'm waiting to see if nintendo starts mentioning gamecube support via download in the future, as they have been hush hush about it.

But in all due honestly, I'm really excited about there next hybrid console. The rumours i've read online is that its a universal device that plays games on the go and on your tv. IT will be like a 3DS meaning it will use cartridges instead of optical media. put the chip in the system and play it on the go. go home and you would wirelessly connect to the docking system that sends out the video to the TV via the wireless dock system.

if this happens I'm assuming it will also have a port to play DS/2DS / 3DS games and a new Xhybrid game card reader.

way better then what sony tried with the cross buy, i noticed the vita version was always gimped, and no tv output.

@Emanouel:  Yeah the multiplayer is much better in 3D World as I too had the same problem with New Super Mario Bros multiplayer.  Unless all the players are the same skill level playing NSMB its a complete train wreck.  Someone always gets killed as either one player moves to fast or the other one doesn't move fast enough.  3D World handles it much better since you can spread out more so to speak and are not all confined on one little platform.

get a xbox one next  year once halo 5 hits and other great exclusives as well.

i have a slight backlog as well, but I've been busy lately with my project so its understandable. i will get more time thos weekend to game

i love 3D world so much i beat it twice. heck i love the super mario land series from the game boy era too. that will be one of the first games i get when i get a wii-u down the road
