The tendency, as more time passes with ZERO Kinect games coming out, for games with universally awful reviews (e.g. Fighters Uncaged, 31 at Metacritic) to look more and more appealing.
The companies that did release something, ANYTHING, for the Kinect must be raking in the dough.
Actually, due to the wait, I started looking up a bunch of action and platform games since Sonic Colors and Kirby's Epic Yarn renewed my love for those games so I went ahead and got 5 more games to keep me busy until the Kinect games I want come out. I think I payed no more than $65 for all 5.
I've got my hopes set on Child of Eden. If that also isnt even remotely playable, I'll toss it into the drawer of "stuff I bought but never really used"... Filled with solar powered gadgets, several watches, some handhelds, old phones, etc.....
I think I'm waiting for E3 before passing any sort of judgement. Running a Kinect site, I have to try to stay interested, but there's been a heck of a lull since launch.
I'm hoping - with fingers, legs and arms crossed - that Microsoft and the other publishers pull something out of the bag at E3, and we're left complaining that there are too many Kinect games, this time next year
Project Draco Codename D Haunt Rise of nightmares steel batillion Forza 4 child of Eden star wars............
Im not complaining i bought a kinect.
I think the problem is that although all of those games sound great, the only one we have any real, solid information on, is Child of Eden. The others only have rough release dates (none of them are guaranteed to see the light of day this year, even!) and information has been patchy at best.
I'm hoping on hope that we get some stuff to fill out the release lists, at E3.
