Topic: Kinect Problem, please help

i have been using my Kinect for a week now but today a message came up saying Kinect connection problem, sinde then the kinect just points to the floor, audio still works and green light is on but the tracker seems dead..the box on tv screen where you see your image is like streaked and sometimes just black, so it cant see anything and doesnt react to anything..all power is there and ive teied turning everything off and on again, when i try to go into settings and do the body tracking it just says cant angle sensor...very frustrating

the green on light is on but but nothing else, no red scanning lights or far right green camera light

It's knackered, basically. Take it back to where you got it from and demand a replacement or refund!

unfortunately i got it 2nd hand from a guy on ebay..guess im screwed then..is it cheaper to buy a new one or get it repaired from microsoft support?? thanks for your help

I'm guessing you're from the UK, in which case you can get a pre-owned one for about £75 from GAME/Gamestation these days. Not sure about the cost of repairing a Kinect, probably not far off though! Worth giving Microsoft a call on 0800 587 1102 to find out

I have been using the Your Shape Fitness Evolved game for some time and now it will not  keep track of my score any more.  As I am excerising I get the little save boxes and it does save for the day but the next day when I return to the game I am back at my old score.  My husband also plays and his is working correctly. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?  All other games work fine.

What a strange problem! Have you contacted Ubisoft customer support? They should be able to help you.

Otherwise it sounds like you might need to start a fresh profile, but obviously that's a worst case scenario.

Drop Ubisoft a line and see what they have to say. Good luck!

toygirl - I would ensure that you're signed in to your Xbox profile when you start the game. I had a similar problem, and Your Shape just stopped recognizing me after a few weeks. If I force the system to log me in on the correct profile, all is well.
