Topic: Should The Next Forza Horizon Add Vehicles Other Than Cars?

I've been playing a lot of Forza Horizon 5 recently and while doing the Horizon Adventure chapters where you race against other people that have vehicles such as planes, monster trucks, jet skis and so on, I was thinking: wouldn't it be cool if the next Forza Horizon introduced vehicles other than cars? People have been saying that this game is "more of the same" and honestly, I can't think of any other way of making the sequel even better than this one unless you add other kinds of vehicles. Like imagine being able to drive, fly and sail in an open world racing game. I think Ubisoft already did that with The Crew 2, but I don't hear many people talk about that game. So I think it'd be cool if Playground did something similar like that with Forza Horizon 6. What do you guys think?

I think part of the charm of the FH series is the fact that the pit car vs planes, trains etc. as the showcase events if they allowed it to.happened all the time then I think that part of the game just won't feel special. The car vs other vehicles is suppose feel special and unique the highlight of the festival.

Now if they want to add in stuff like Jet ski or motorcycle races where you race a motorcycle against other motorcycles or.jet ski against other Jet skis that would be a welcome change of pace.

Then again as you said Ubisoft tried that with the Crew 2 and nobody talks about that games so maybe it's not such a good idea after all.

I'd only approve if it was as part of an expansion like the Hot Wheels expansion of Forza Horizon 3 that had toy cars.

@Tasuki Yeah but honestly, I think the showcase events have outgrown their novelty. We've had them since the first Horizon and it was very cool then but now I think I'd rather race with the same vehicles.

But I do agree with both you and @Royalblues that boats and motorcycles would be great additions but perhaps not planes. Japan could also work as a great introduction for these vehicles, especially boats as the country is surrounded by sea.

Motorbikes would be a great addition to the series, especially motocross bikes. They're in the game as AI so some of the work has been done already. I'd love to tear through the Mexican jungle or ride that long winding volcano route on a dirt bike. Needs to happen.
