Hi all just recently bought an official xbox rechargeable battery and wire however it appears that it won't charge the battery and only now works when plugged into my controller. Has anyone else had this problem?
@QualityGeezer I’ve had this happen to me recently although I’ve been using my battery pack for over 2 years since getting my Series X. I now just use the charging cable to act as a wired controller since I’m sitting close to the Xbox and TV anyway.
It’s most likely your battery is faulty, if you’ve got the receipt and it’s still within the warranty date then I’d return it for a replacement.
@MaccaMUFC yeah I was thinking the same because as you said it works fine as as a a wired controller but as soon as its disconnected it doesn't register
