Those of you who have chatted to me on game nights know that I am a crazy cat lady. In honour of this, I decided to start a thread for you to post pictures of your awesome pets so that I have an excuse to do the same!

My cats are:

Boo
Boo is a loveable idiot. His hobbies include - playing with the ball, bringing the ball to Josie, having the ball thrown for him and chilling out with his best friend Mr Shrimps (and the ball).
Here he is with Mr Shrimps

And here, when we bought a new lamp and Boo won the ball jackpot (or possibly started to excel in some sort of wizardry)

Chell
Chell is an extremely vocal cat who hates change. He likes us to go to bed at 10pm and will be very vocal about any failure to comply. He especially hates it when we have any kind of plant or tree

Let's see your awesome pets!

How do you post a photo in here?

Yes, Super-Ken broke it all down. You must be posting an image that is hosted elsewhere, direct image uploading isn't supported. I'll have pics of my fabulous Rabbit YHWH (and his late pre-dessesor) very soon.

SUCH ADORABLE KITTIES Josie! I want a Mr. Shrimp to chill with, how did I miss that on my last trip to Cali? (Bubba Gump's Yo!)

We have too many pets in our house for me to post pictures of them all but here's a cute pic of one of our more recent newcomers to the family:

This is Pollux (we call him Lux). He is a big cat, but still small for being a Maine Coon.

Sooooo Fluffly.

I'm clearly doing something wrong... tried sharing photo from both onedrive and Dropbox but neither way shows any image :-/

Lux is certainly regal! What coloration does he have?

Still waiting for the perfect time to drop my little Wookie upon you all, he defines the word fluffy.

That's him posing for the camera. He's a very good poser.

We used to have two of these (this one and her daughter). The daughter got sick and went over rainbow bridge and this one will probably follow shortly (she's 14, a good age for a weimaraner and on her last legs - literally, that's why she's allowed on the couch). Mind you, her daughter used to sleep in my lap! 34 kg of lapdog, such fun. My wonderful Sasha

Yeah, I think Dropbox doesn't like embedding. http://www.imgur.com works though - no need to even sign up.

Sasha is a beautiful dog! I wish my appt. allowed them. I can get away with hiding a wookie-rabbit in the closet when maintenance comes in but a pup of any size might arouse attention. Luckily Rabbits can only make teeny-weeny pig-like "Snorks"... snork, snork, snork!

Thank you and she is also the most loyal animal I've ever seen also. If you are ill, she will not leave your side, just lies on the floor by you. I will be sad to see her go but she's had a good innings. Costing us the GDP of a small country at the vets currently but I refuse to put an animal that isn't in pain down.

Wow, massive cat picture!!! This is Tali, she's about 2 years old and of mixed breed. Tali was the runt of a litter and was ostracised very early on in her development. Coupled with a noisy household with many pets and construction work she spent most of her time outside, rarely returning home. MrsTurian and I noticed she spent most of her time wandering from door to door begging for food and sleeping outside which continued for some time. She had no collar so we thought she may be a stray so we put a paper collar on her with our contact information in the hope that an owner would appear. One of our neighbours rang and said she knew the owner and would pass on the message so subsequently Tali disappeared. We didn't see her again for 2 weeks when she reappeared with a collar on her neck. This disappeared 3 days later and she returned to begging and stealing food. Via another neighbour we send a request to adopt her as she was stick thin, vomiting and mangy. It was June 10th (I remember as it was the last day of the Destiny beta) the owner appeared at the door (I thought he was going to punch my ticket) but was very amicable about the whole situation and let us have her for free. 9 months later, and after a period I refer to as The Ketchup Chronicals, she has turned into a very happy, social lapcat.

You might have heard her input during some online sessions! Her hobbies include sitting on the nearest warm lap/recently vacated chair, chasing sparkly fish on a stick, finding treats in her treat puzzle shoe box and sitting on the decking and sunning herself. Her greatest nemesis is The High Lord Vac-oom and the nail clipper.

I'm a big animal lover myself; I have two cats at my current place, and the rest of my animals are at my folks' - including my terrier, Prince, who just turned 16. Can't be many dogs left that were born in the '90s!

Friend of mine has an 18 year old scottie. Doesn't do too much now! Don't do cats, my wife is allergic to them (we used to have quite a few at one time too).

I wanted a cat or a dog, but my landlord put the mockers on that. So I got a fish.

Untitled

This is Ponyo. She lives in the tank with 9 little Platys (who are lovely colours but who hide when I try to take a photo) and I got her on a whim. Was browsing and the woman at the store said nobody wanted her as she was a weird shape (which she undoubtedly is) and was sick and unlikely to live more than a few weeks. They probably saw me coming, as I bought the fish, a tank, the food, all the decorations and gravel and stuff, and the tank treatment to try to make her better, and then marched out defiantly as if I was proving them wrong. Meanwhile, they were counting their money.

Still, a year later and she's still a weird shape, but she's fighting fit.
