Suggestion:
The warranty is not voided even if you got it fixed. If you're within the 3 year warranty time period, you can send it back to MS for repairs. MS is obligated to fix it every time that it gets the RRoD during that 3 year period.
GS will not buy an RRoD 360. They go to the back, turn it on, and if the RRoD shows up, it'll be returned to you.

go on craigslist and find someone who can fix it
The root reason of most red ring of death mishaps on xbox 360 are because of over heating. so, i would leave it alone and keep in a cool area covered by a towel or something to keep it cool. no you porbably could not sell it back to gamestop because they dont want broken consoles.
I unplugged the adapter then waited a while. Then it worked Again, my friend worshiped me after i fixed it.
