Why Are People Willing to Pay for 3 Ring of Death Xbox 360's?

Is there something that I don't know? I see this alot of sites such as craigslist. Peoplea are willing to pay cash, trade for other items, or find some other way to get you to give it to them. Why?

Answer:

Because they can get it for really cheap, and then send it back to MS for repairs, so they basically get a 360 system for under 100 bucks or whatever.

they get them cheap send them back or fix them in 5 min an resell. its all about them making money and its easy i have done it about 7 times already plus fixed my friends in about 5 min

They buy them for parts or repair.

well they buy a box that has three rings of death because they can send it to microsoft and get a new console in two weeks or less.
