What Does the Ring of Death Do to a Xbox Console?

Usually the ring of death is caused from substantial over heating of the console. It can of course mean other things but one thing is certain, you will have to have it fixed. There are a few do it yourself remedies but most require a sauntering iron and can be difficult without prior experience in electronics. Your best bet is to send it off to one of the internet sites that will usually fix it under $100. Good luck!

Suggestion:

Depending on the Ring of Death.

1) Hard drive is connected wrong.

2) E 70…something error, means that basically your video chip inside of it crapped.

3) (the usual) Means that there's hardware failure.

4) No AV Cable
