Suggestion:
The red rings of death are when your xbox's rings of light turn red. They each indicated a different problem. You can go to Xbox.com to figure out what the problems are. The ways to prevent these different problems, are to keep your xbox in a place where it can keep cool, and don't have too many things plugged in to the same power bar as your Xbox.
