Red Ring of Death with Only Two Red Lights (half Circle)?
Every time I boot up my xbox 360 (original, not slim) it seems to function normally for about 10-15 minutes. Then it sounds like the fans suddenly start working full power (there's a loud whooshing fan-like sound), the TV screen goes black, and two red lights start flashing on my console in the shape of a half-circle. I've looked on support.microsoft.com, and they only mention errors involving three or four lights. What's going on?
Suggestion:
Your air inlet may be blocked. Try to unblock it with a small handheld vacuum. Do NOT use a floor vacuum – they too powerful and can damage the fan permanently.
