I've had it for more than 3 years and im bored out of my mind because i can no longer play xbox 360 games. i was wondering how do you fix xbox 360 that has the ring of death???

Let me be the first to say that I know how you feel about your xbox 360. I had the ring of death happen to me a few weeks ago and the support that I got from microsoft was horrible! A few of my friends didn't have a problem with them though.
So I did some online research and I found this cool site.

It had a few helpful tips to help me fix my 360 from the ring of death. It may seem a little complicated at first but if you have music to movitate you then it really helps. And some coffee.. hahaha.
